Details

The applicant will be a member of the European Plant Performance team and responsible for optimizing wind farm projects to minimize cost of energy and provide the most competitive solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Optimize wind farm projects in a multi-disciplinary project team (sales, technical sales support, project management, etc.).
Take up a senior role in the project team and mentor less experienced colleagues, functionally lead ad-hoc teams during tender phases.
Engage in front line sales support activities and represent the product & technology organization within Senvion in front of customers.
Lead wind farm performance topics throughout project lifecycle, including sales, execution (e.g. PCV campaigns) and service (e.g. performance or sound issues).
Continuously challenging the status quo by improving methods and processes.
Profile:
Successfully completed a university degree in a relevant discipline (MSc or PhD level).
Work experience of >5 years within the wind industry.
Highly proficient user of state of the art site assessment and sound modelling software (WindPro / Windfarmer or OpenWind).
Familiarity with wind turbine wake engineering models a must.
Knowledge of aero-elastic engineering models of great benefit.
Previous experience with CFD packages (Windsim, OpenFoam, etc.) beneficial.
Fluent English skills (spoken and written) required.
Knowledge of the programming language R and/or Python beneficial.
Leadership experience welcome.
Relevant experience may compensate for skills or qualifications.
Personal skills: high degree of flexibility, engaged problem solver, willingness to travel worldwide.
